Mateo Pomilia

Mateo Pomilia is a 2nd year Master’s student in the Native American Languages and Linguistics program. Mateo’s interest lies in bridging language revitalization and land back efforts through tools such as public lands co-stewardship, Indigenous toponymy, and Traditional Ecological Knowledge. Mateo is a collaborator on the A’ingae Language Documentation Project and his Thesis is entitled “An Assessment of the Ethnolinguistic Vitality of A’ingae in Ecuador”.
