Using Games to Teach Language, June 24 & 25, 2016

Games can create contexts for uninhibited language use and for teaching any feature of a language. This two-day workshop used hands-on activities to adapt common games and design new games for teaching specific language structures. Participants discussed how to use games for different ages and group sizes, and they focused on games that maximize teachers' time and resources. Participants created and shared  games for teaching their language.
