Teaching Materials for Language Revitalization Workshop

This workshop held April 13-14, 2018 was developed in part by graduate students in the Master of Arts Program in Native American Language and Linguistics (NAMA). The students were led by Visiting Assistant Professor in Linguistics, Elizabeth Kickham, Ph.D. and acting director of the NAMA program .Workshop participants from tribal schools and language programs, learned how to use existing documentation (grammars, translated texts, oral histories) to create language teaching materials. The free workshop was held at the College of Education, University of Arizona, Tucson.
