AILDI held its second version of the workshop, Recording Traditional Talk: Land, Plant and Animal Restoration at the annual conference of the National Association of Tribal Historic Preservation Officers (NATHPO). The conference was held in Laguna, New Mexico. The site of the workshop was the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park. Using the free software program Evernote, participants learned how to record and document traditional knowledge related to plants and animals.
The workshop was led by Tyler Peterson, Ph.D., University of Arizona and Luis Barragan, Huhugam Heritage Center.
