The workshop was held specifically for the Gila River Indian Community's language and culture teachers. The workshop included immersion, lesson planning and teaching demonstrations. A great deal of the workshop was conducted using the O'odham language. Instructors for the workshop were Ofelia Zepeda and Andrea Ramon. The workshop was held at the Gila River Indian Community.
