Traditional Innovations: Indigenous Language and Culture On-line

The theme for AILDI's summer session directly relates to the on-line mode that we have all been working under since the COVID-19 pandemic. While it has been difficult to gather together for important social and cultural events, efforts to continue to learn and express language and culture have been attempted using an on-line modality. This year's summer session offers courses that examine how on-line teaching affects oral immersion, language planning and lesson development. Also, there will be a course on how to effectively evaluate and use  technology in ways that can be applied during and after the pandemic.
